I received a check in the mail from TOOLTECHNIC SYSTEMS, LLC today.  I had no idea what this was until I noticed on the stub it said "PRO5 REBAT".

I originally filed for the rebate on November 11th, so it only took a total of 10 days for the check to arrive.  Significantly faster than the 6 to 8 weeks as specified on the website.

Very pleased with Festool on the super fast turn around.

Thank you!

I'm surprised Festool wasn't "overwhelmed" by the response to a discounted sander with a rebate. Nice to hear they managed to print out enough paper to issue the rebates in a timely manner.

It's probably not too difficult to process the rebates of the whole 15 units that got shipped on November 1st.

I just placed my rebate submission today, for anyone else that's done this what was your turnaround time, if it's still ongoing let us know how long it's been.
Just curious, I hate not knowing.
I'm from Canada also so not sure if that will slow it down.  I also don't know if it's a US funds coming from the US or Canadian.

Submitted in November of 2016. Still not received...

Looks like the rebate is $50 US.  I received a cheque for $67 CDN.  Sorry, not sure how long it took to get here, I don't check the mail that often.

Finally got my check in the mail, as it was cut February 2nd. Took about 72 days to receive it in the mail. Soo...I went to deposit it, along with 4 other checks, and it is the only check yet I have not been able to deposit via my phone. *sigh* This is still being way harder than it should be. At least I have the check though!

Do you have to wait until you get the sander?
As I understand it you will get the rebate form with the sander, but you can go ahead and make the purchase now that you want to use the rebate on. Then once you get the sander you can send the rebate in.

Thanks for chiming in, I was wondering about that as well.  Seems only fair as we are paying a marked up price here in Canada for the sander, and whatever tool item we were to use the rebate on, so it makes sense to me that the $50 would be beefed up in Canadian dollars accordingly.

Just to update for the record, I received my Pro5 rebate cheque today for $67 Canadian funds.

I submitted mine online the first week of April and got the check this week.  2 week turn around!  I think that's the fastest I've ever rec'd a rebate check!

I got mine very quickly, also.  Less than 2 weeks after filing on line.

Quick turnaround for me as well- submitted form on the 16th and received the check yesterday.

Regards,
Gerald
