Receiving a Kapex for my 10 years at work

I guess I baby my 8 year old Kapex a little.  But it looks like you have your new one in for breakfast.  Well, it pays to start off on the right foot.

Wait ,why never clamp both sides of the work? I do that all the time with the hold downs

Great gift from the boss, he must have a a lot of finishing work coming up ;-). I've had my kapex for about a year,wish I'd got it 10 years ago, absolutely love it!! Enjoy!

When you clamp both sides the blade can (should the workpiece twist from relieved stress) bind, which could (with a good chance) have unwanted impact on the blade, the arbor, the motor, your wrist, other stuff - possibly reducing the lifetime of some or all of these... Also quality of the cut can suffer.
