This is a project I recently completed and installed in a clients great room.
Each of these "faux" beams were made from 3 pieces of 3/4" flat cut Douglas Fir, bevel cut cookied and glued together. I stained and laquered them to match the clients floor of this great room. They are about 15.5 feet above the floor.
The main beams are 16.5 feet long and the cross beams are about 8.5 feet long.
