doesn't look very retired to me! - understated functional elegance. Nice!

I’m sure a cabinet shop could have knocked this out in a couple of days. Just 4 sides, desk level tier, and a top tier plus a couple of 4 drawer units that slide under the desk level tier.

It took me about 2 months to build the darn thing working a few hours a day. It took 3 guys and a 12 year old to assemble it at the new studio. It was amazingly pleasant that it all fit together the first try.

I’m pleased the studio owner likes it and I’m pleased the darn thing is out of my garage.

I told the Pilates studio owner that I do not have spray painting equipment and the desk was too big for me to hand paint. She said she had spray painted other pieces. She tried and ended up hiring a professional. I think the guy did, at best, a fair job. The owner will have the painter return to touch up.

I’ll ask what paint he used.
