Recommend me a flat tooth table saw blade

Good morning FOG.
I bought a Dewalt table saw.
It's larger, noisier and dirty-er than I was expecting.
It comes with a 24tooth ATB blade that isn't very good for making dado type cuts - it leaves small groove marks behind because of the tooth shape.
Please can someone suggest a 250mm x 30mm saw blade with flat top teeth that has a low tooth count.
...and is available in the UK!

Thanks
bob

A dado set for radial arm saw use will do a nicer job. The radial arm setup (negative hook angle) cuts a bit slower, but makes cleaner cuts, especially on cross grain.

I have an dado set that I got for my table saw (positive hook angle) and one I got for my radial arm saw (negative hook angle) and the negative hook angle makes cleaner cuts in all instances.

I use it with my tenoning jig to make the cheek cuts on shaker cabinet rails, and also to make the grooves in the rails and stiles for the panels.

When I first started, I used a regular table saw blade for this, and that will work if you are painting, but looks unsightly to me with a clear coat.

The “fox ears” that I see on the end can be filled with grain filler and painted over.  That does not work for a clear coat.

Both of my dado sets are made in Italy, Freud branded sets.  They are very good.  I bought mine about 25 years ago, so I don’t know if they are still available.

I have a DeWalt Contractors’ II table saw.  Adding dust collection is pretty much a must.  Even so, lots of dust accumulates, especially when I use the zero clearance insert.

I have the Forrest DADO King blades, and several of their other blades.  The charge me an extra $30 for a 30mm arbor and two Pin holes.  My experience with Forrest is that if you go online and can't find the blade you want listed, it is probably because they are out of the steel to make them.  Give Ted R. a call at Forrest and he will guide you thru the process.

Thank you all for the suggestions.
Does anyone know of a UK source for a flat tooth blade?
Thanks bob

Amazon (UK) has them, as do most retailers.  Almost all rip blades have flat grind.

Search “flat grind table saw blades” in Amazon and dozens of rip blades are shown.

Or just google that same search and find other vendors.

My google-fu is really letting me down these days.  When ever I search for stuff on Amazon I get 1,001 results from companies I've never heard off!

I've been reading the CMT catalogue and have found what I need.

Regards
Bob

My post got lost somehow.  It may show up again repeating much of this.

CMT makes quality goods, and some are unique.  I purchased a dowel jig of theirs from Amazon (UK) as it is not imported to the USA.  It shipped from Amazon (Spain).  Shipping was quick and reasonable.

I tried to order that same item from IGM.com, but they could not process my credit card.  They are in Europe and they carry a fairly amazing array of woodworking tools and equipment.  It is disappointing that they could not complete the transaction.

I assume you mean www.igmtools.com.  If so, they are in the Czech Republic and do have an impressive line of machines and tools.
