Recommended Festool sandpaper for kitchen cabinets finished in lacquer

I am getting ready to bid on a kitchen cabinet "revitalization" (not full refinishing) project. The custom cherry cabinets involved are stained medium dark and then finished with lacquer. I've confirmed this by testing it with lacquer thinner. The homeowner wants the 15 year old cabinet doors and drawers to be refreshed by a good cleaning and the finish improved where it is chipped, dulled, worn, etc. The present lacquer finish was put on and then steel-wooled to a satin sheen. The makers did a real nice job.

So here's the question - on the parts that need new lacquer, what (approximately) 600 grit Festool sandpaper should I use?  I'd want a stearate-based product or something that won't clog and expect to be doing alot of the sanding by hand. Is Titan2 the choice or will Granat work better, esp. the foam-backed squares?

Any experienced users for this application?

If you have a picture or two of the nature of the blending required, that would help.

The granat hand rolls are really handy to have around for these type of situations.

Ron:
Check the September/October '12 Fine Woodworking. There is an article there by Jeff Jewitt on reviving a finish. Some good info there.
Also check out/search/post Woodweb.com's professional finishing section.
From the looks of it to me, (finish around the pulls have become sticky and come off) looks like that finish is failing, but that's just me.
Good luck. Let us know how it goes.
Tim
