Recon Domino xl

Hi All,

I purchased my first actual fes-tool (domino 700) last Friday in the reconditioned tool sale.  I thought about my purchase for a while and am looking forward to using it.  How long should I expect to wait for its delivery? I have not been updated, and as it has been over 5 days, and 3 working days, I am feeling antsy.

I know that Tyler is out of town.  If you look at his post, look over to the left.  In his profile information there are 4 little icons.  If you hover over the right most one it is the messaging one. 

Or you can click on the avatar (image) to the left and ultimately choose to send him a private message from the menu you will see on the left.

You can also log into your account on the recon site and check the status.

I ordered one also on the same day and it shows as:

Fulfillment status: unfulfilled

They were previously shipping them out in a day or so - but with the flurry of activity in the last week they are probably a little behind.

Last Friday?!

The big Domino is the only recon tool I'm trying to buy and I never got email notice that it was for sale.
This is the first I've heard about it.

Join the lonely group Michael...like you, I also seldom receive the emails. I had been waiting for the XL to go on sale but pretty much gave up on the possibility as emails were just not coming my way. I decided to place my laptop in the kitchen and every time I came up stairs from the basement, I’d hit the recon refresh button.

One day, probably 3-4 weeks ago when I hit the refresh button, the XL suddenly appeared. I got so excited I almost knocked the laptop off of the counter and on to the floor. I hit the purchase button immediately, not knowing if I had just purchased the XL or the XL kit.

Then a minute later, I remembered my brother-in-law also wanted a XL. So I hit the refresh button a couple of times and then hit the purchase button...I got the old “Wow, that went fast” message.

So did I purchase the last XL?...dunno. Does my brother-in-law now own a XL?...no. In the weeks since my personal windfall, every time I’ve hit the refresh button and the XL comes up, it’s already sold out.

Luck...just plain luck but it is in mint condition I might add.

I really hope these email issues/inconsistencies are addressed before the next recon sale.  [sad] [sad]

Checked all my mail folders and saw a Domino 500 offered on Thursday but I didn't receive any emails Friday. That was first and only time I've been blacked out, that I'm aware of...
