Recon tool question - confusion

Like many others, I am interested in this promotion.
My question is with the OF1010EQ routers as there are 4 listed - 2 sets of 10% and 20% discounts but with different Original Prices. What is the difference in the OF1010 at $370 list and the same one at $330 list?

I can sure see a lot of frustration coming with this program. Since there are no known quantities and so many dealers are creating wish/want lists, how are the orders going to be prioritized and filled? Seems like if 20 dealers each take 10 requests for a CT26 and there are only 5 available, how will they be distributed? I can see hundreds of order requests for a specific item happening quite easily. Think a storm is coming!!!

Peter, often times Germany will change the product number when there's a change in the scope of delivery. That's the case here. To be honest, I don't recall what's included in the older version (574240), but I can walk into the warehouse and check if necessary. Just let me know.

So, same router, just different accessories included.

I looked at that list last night. It does seem a bit odd and confusing. My guess is someone is making a decision based on how many blemishes and/or original accessories the particular tool/systainer have. The idea and statements on the site are that the tools are mechanically sound and the 'same'. Pricing shouldn't be based on tool mechanics is my guess.
I thought the in stock, low stock tags were also a bit odd. Definitely some nice deals there. 10% off doesn't get my wallet open. Big whoopy do, just a sales gimmick by any merchant. That's our sales tax here. In this case for 10% off I'd just buy a new tool. The 20% off I'll go for. A 1010, another sander definite options if work picks up.
I think this is a great promotion. It will probably allow current festool owners to pickup more and save a bit. I don't see newbies gobbling everything up.

Well done, sir! After 6-7 years, it must feel good to beat me to it just once. Ha!  [poke]  [tongue]

Excuse, me. I did beat you once, yes once, don't quite remember the product, but the shouts of joy were loud enough to wake up my daughter. The fact that 20 minutes later you had the whole pdf up and posted ( ???)only slightly diminished my sense of accomplishment. [laughing]

Makes sense!! Yea the difference is probably the edge guide.
Thanks Shane.

Ha, Shane didn't touch that one... [tongue]

Actually, I didn't read far enough through the post and it's been an insane morning for me. [eek] I wasn't ignoring it. Look guys, the reality is that there are a limited number of some products, particularly those showing "Low Stock". There may be situations where multiple customers/dealers are vying for the same tools and someone ends up not getting one. My advice is: if you're interested, get your order in to your dealer ASAP. But, understand that there is no guarantee of availability.

For me, the fun exciting factor is not knowing how many tools are available and if I will be able to buy one!  This is FUN! Every so often, I come into the house and check my inbox hoping to hear from Mr. Marino!!  The way I see it, if I can save a couple bucks, cool.  If not, I'm going to buy the tools I want anyways.

Awesome outlook Eric.  Keepin' it positive

To partially solve the issue of conflicting orders for recon tools and Yes I'm sure this will be considered sooo inappropriate.
If two orders come in for a tool, FOG member gets priority over non-Fogger. If multiple FOG members for same tool, date stamp of when order came in prevails.
Might just finally be time to get a Domino

How do I go about ordering an item from bob marino?  Bob I sent you an e-mail with my request because I wasn't sure how else to place the order.
