Bob, thanks for another wonderful transaction. If Festool decides to do this again in the future, I hope they make it easier for the dealers. This must have been a logistical nightmare for you all. As a result, I wanted to thank you for all your help. Who would have ever thought we would have Christmas in February? Thanks!
Guys, sorry this has turned out as not the best executed program we've done. Best laid plans and all that... Thank you for your continuing patience with Festool and your dealers. Know that the sales department is working through this as quickly as possible. Although, I know that may not offer a lot of reassurance when you're anxious to get your order status. My sincere apologies.
I just hope this does not discourage Festool from doing it again. We all appreciate your wonderful customer service and your drive to make the customer feel as though they are the top priority. Hindsight is always 20/20 and we can keep piling on the suggestions, but I know this is not an easy task. It was like Black Friday at an outlet store [scared] Except it was in the virtual world. I am sure I am not the only one out there that thinks this was a wonderful opportunity to purchase the best tools at a discount. The overwhelming response to purchase these tools is an example that Festool is truly the best. Thanks!
BTW, big brother TS75 is making space for it's new little brother :
Please don't stop whatever you are doing and look up my order, I know you are probably swamped right now. Will you be sending out e-mails saying "Not a winner, Thanks for playing"? Just wondering if a lack of e-mail means No Soup For You, or if I should expect an e-mail either way.
NO apologies needed Shane. Thank you for all your work, the rest of the green team and the dealers. It was cool that you did it and I hope you do it again.

No, the lack of emails does not indicate bad new; just that this project is very time consuming and the staff wants to get it done correctly. When the inevitable bad news is confirmed - and unfortunately given the supply and demand for the tools, there be some disappointed customers, I will do the manly thing and let the ladies in Festool's office make the calls. ;D [laughing] KIDDING, I will do the emails and/or phone calls.
Ok, the Festool Dealer Portal (that's where I check the orders) is down, but I will continue with the Recon Tool notifications tomorrow. Hang in there.
Dunno how many of you have got your recon tools yet but I was a little worried about the 20% off ones that I ordered being in bad condition. But happily I picked up my new c12 and dts400 today and to be honest I could not tell the difference from a brand new one, there is not a single mark on the tools or systainer. I couldn't be happier thanks festool.
