Just a few words, as I'm writin' up  the Recon tool orders.

As I mentioned to all who phoned me, we dealers don't have access to the actual numbers of each item in stock, nor do we know what and how many orders will be placed by any other participating dealers. We are all taking orders know and will submit to Festool on Feb. 1, not before.

I won't speak for any other dealers (dealers feel free to jump in here) on anything else regarding this program, so the rest is totally on me.

Many items indicate "Low Stock" from the get go; so realize that there's a good shot it won't be available for everyone, so you may want to consider the tool at another price/discount level which gives you a way better shot.

After Festool gets the orders, sees what's what, lets the dust clear and sends me email confirmations, you will be notified and your card charged.

This  Recon Tool Program is similar to, but way logistically different from the demo/used/refurbished program that Festool used to have in place a few years ago.

Sooooooooooooooo, I ask for your understanding that until after the dust settles at Festool, I can only submit your order and hope for the best!

I still say that all the dealers should go in a cage match and the last dealer standing gets to place the order.  [eek]

Hey Joe, Bob might surprise you.  Remember, he's a Jersey boy. [big grin]

Bob, your mailbox is full again.  I'm going to have to start charging for these notifications.  I think it falls under FOG secretary agreement.

I think I am feeling like it's a cage match already ;D ;) ;D
Any, thanks for the heads-up on the mailbox.

I can't even imagine how the Festool customer service people answering the phones and emails are going to handle all the action tomorrow! Like Bob said us dealers have no idea what the inventory of recon tools Festool has. And even if we place orders for certain products and quantities we are not sure what we will be getting. We all hope Festool comes through and makes us(dealers and end users)happy and we all get what we want. Again like Bob said "after the dust settles"......
