Reconditioned Domino XL

Just received the Domino XL from the reconditioned sale.  I went through the process for getting it ready to use and when I turned it on it would only stay on for about 2 seconds.  I turned it off and tried again but the same thing.  I unplugged it from the extension cord and then plugged it into the outlet - same thing.  Is there something that I am missing or is it just defective?  I have started the return process for repair.

I know it sounds sophomoric, but double-check to make sure the plug it lead is firmly attached. Otherwise, I'm guessing you'll need to take advantage of festools awesome service.

Thats actually a good point. I've had co workers not twist the plug it after repeatedly pointing that out.

Thanks for the suggestion!  I re-checked how I connected the cord and tried again.  Same result.  Even used the cord from the TS55 and still the same.  Will send back for repair!

I actually had the very same problem last week with my domino I've owned for almost 2 years. Festool service is really great turned out to be an armature and control board there  turnaround time is very fast. I would definitely send it for repair.

Thanks for the info!  It has been sent back.  Looking forward to getting it back and building something with it!
