Just finished staining and spraying the box, legs and top. Interesting wood to work...never had it before, and can't find it anywhere commercially. They say it's a lot like White oak, but it's not. It behaves like red oak to work, but takes stain very differently. Wife is very happy with the outcome. We milled the stock to 5/4, kiln dried it, and let it stand for a year or so. I am ready to assemble and put on legs.[attachimg=#]
