I would like to integrate a Festool vac into my workbench and would like to use the smallest possible Festool vac with AC feature. My question is: can the top hose garage of the CTL/CTM 26 AC be easily removed to reduce the height of the vac? If so, does anybody know the height difference it would make?
The standard height of the CTL/CTM 26 AC is 540 mm.
The alternative is the CTL 26 AC HD, which is just 455 mm in height, but it looks like it is discontinued and it's already difficult to buy here.
It looks like there's also a new vac released, possible a replacement of the HD, the CTL 26 E AC RENOFIX, which is also just 455 mm in height, but does have a hose garage again.
