I've got epoxy floors in my Garage/Shop.  Is there a safe way to remove it without damaging the epoxy paint??

If it's Titebond I or II - put boiling water on it from your kettle and wait for it to soften. The carefully scrape off with a hard plastic object like a spatula. If it's Titebond III - not much will get that stuff off.

Unless anyone on here knows different .......

TB3 is stubborn.  Might have to boil the water twice.

Have you tried scraping it up with a plastic putty knife? It doesn't stick well to non-porous surfaces. I have a laminate surface workbench, and it won't stick to that.

I won't pretend to understand the chemistry going on, but somewhere along the line I learned that ammonia-based window cleaner will dissolve cured aliphatic resin glues like TB and TB2.  I'd spot-test the cleaner (Windex WITH ammonia) on the floor first, but it was always safe on plastics like laminate.

Try soaking with white vinegar to soften and release it.

This too should be tested first.

Vinegar can be used to clean off uncurled epoxy so it might affect the appearance of the cured epoxy too?

Thanks Guys, I'll try the thrice boiled water and scratch away with a plastic puddy knife.

MEK as found in PVC pipe primer will disolve TB3.

I got some on my clothing and didn't notice untill too late. The primer cleaned it off.
