Repair return tracking

I have a tool on its way back from repair; is tracking not provided?

I would presume they have a tracking code, but that's something that can be quicker answered by FTCS.

Turns out you just have to wait.
I now have a UPS label. I need my router.

I was wondering about this. Years ago Festool USA switched over to SAP software and when I was taking a tour thru the repair department and talking with the then manager he was pointing out how the software integrated into the whole process. I asked about shipping notification. At that time they had put off purchasing the license(s) that handled the notification. That was 8 years ago.
