I'm considering replacing my ps300. I'm looking for cordless, the light and better visibility whilst using dust extraction. I'm a finish carpenter and use it for everything from cutouts to scribing to occasionally cutting/shaping dimensional lumber. My main concern is power, is it a worthy replacement? I'm sold on all the other enhancements.
Cheers

I've never felt that my cordless Carvex lacked power.

Question is if cordless makes sense with the intended use of 'with dust extraction'.

If I had to do it over again I definitely would have gone for the cordless Carvex rather than corded (assuming I was already invested in the battery platform, though).  The dust extraction is minimal compared to other Festools, and often I will simply not use it even with my corded version, especially if I'm trying to make precise cuts or curves.

Thanks for the input, don't use dust extraction predominately, mainly cordless and the light are the driving factors.

I've used a trion for years and bought the 420 too when we had a free battery deal here in the U.K. I love the 420 it's much easier to see the cut and is powerful enough for everything I throw at it
