Will it be possible to buy the new T-Loc systainers with the correct insert and labeling (without the tool) to replace the old style systainer? Just bought a Kapex, ETS 150/5 and 1010 Router from Bob Marino and of course the router and sander shipped with the two latch systainers. I would prefer the newer T-Loc systainer and emailed Bob with this question but didn't receive an answer. Though someone might know.

                                                                                                                                                          Thanks, Jack

I asked if I could get my TS55 (got it today) with the new Sys and they are not available yet. As we know they stay with release dates. I would ask if the inserts you have would work with the new sys.

I think that I read on this or another forum that the existing inserts won't work with the T-Loc systainers. I assume just like the two latch systainers which you can buy empty, the T-loc systainers will be available individually also, but with the correct insert and labeling for a paticular tool is unclear. I would think it would be profitable for Festool for those of us who might want to upgrade to the new T-loc systainers. As I have just started to replace my Festools( sold my shop two years ago and owned quite a few) i like what I've seen of the T-loc systainers.

I think this question is being misunderstood.  The answer is yes. T-Loc Systainers will be available for purchase empty soon. As I understand it, some inserts from the Classic line fit fine, others need some modification in the form of some cuts. However, you can also contact your dealer or Festool Service to order the inserts as spare parts.

At some point in the near future, I will add a page to the website where you can print your own labels. This feature is already available on the European Festool sites, but I plan to make some improvements.

Hi Jack,

maybe you already have seen the thread we had about the new T-LOC's shortly after they came out in Germany. I made a short Video introduction which answered some "burning" questoins, but the thread covers some more about features and stability. The question you asked about the old iserts fitting in the new T-LOC's is covered in the Video at 6:50 - bu you may want to watch the complete Video, as i tried to explain here the most important improvement in regard to the stability and robustness.

Introductoin of the T-LOC Systainers

kind regards, Mike

Take a look at my message from 20th of January (http://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-tools-accessories/new-t-loc-systainers-on-youtube/msg131750/#msg131750)
Festool Germany announced the following T-Loc systainers:
SYS 1 TL-DF, SYS 2 TL-DF, SYS 3 TL-DF
SYS 4 TL, SYS 5 TL
They also announced the replacement serial numbers of all the machines and empty systainers to T-Loc systainers.
In this list you can find the corresponding numbers for T-Loc systainers for the ETS 150/5, 1010 Router, TS 55 and many others.
If these will be available in the States I don't know but from now on they are available in Europe.
SYS > T-Loc
