Resharpening HL850 blades

My standard HL850 blade has developed two nicks in it that are leaving marks on the wood.  Has anyone tried to send theirs out for resharpening, or do I just need to replace the whole thing?

Since the blade is self aligning, I would imagine that sharpening isn't a viable option since the blade would be shorter after removing the nicks.

Edward, save yourself the headache and buy a new blade. They are only $39.00. If you can get it sharpened, send the old one out. I got 2 spares a while back when I got my 850.
