Hi, I recently bought an RG130 for house paint stripping (yellow disc). It does a great job stripping but dust collection is poor to the point where it will be unusable on a lot of jobs. I'm running a CT26 with a 27mm hose and recently watched a Peter Parfitt video on the higher collection rate of a larger diameter hose. The RG's hose port has exterior nodes which look like they'd hold a bigger diameter hose. Has anyone used the RG to strip paint and used a 36mm hose? Or just generally does the 36mm extract more dust/shavings on other tools? Thanks in advance.

36mm hose on a RG130 is night and day different to the 27mm hose on concrete. I couldn't see paint being much different, although I only have limited experience with the RG130 and the yellow wheel on paint.

I used the RG150 yesterday on concrete with a 27mm hose for the first time as I forgot to pack the 36mm hose, I initially thought the extractor was off, the dust was so much more than with the other hose.

You'll find that if you can get the 36mm hose on the tool (they don't work with sanders) you'll have a much better time with the extraction. Also a huge benefit on the TS too.
