A suggestion when revised, one can set the initial view of the PDF to open and show the pages and bookmarks.
NEVER, ever, ever!! [big grin] [big grin] This is a major rule of mine, that I will not override a person's own viewing preferences for their own software. I absolutely despise it when another author does this to me. So I will never do it to anyone else. All of my PDFs are created to utilize
your preferences, not mine.
Every person has their own viewing preferences, but Adobe Acrobat is about the only software in the world that will allow the author to override this on someone else's computer (most times by accident from the author). Because I run dual large monitors, my default viewing preferences are Continuous Facing pages with a separate cover page and no bookmarks. However, someone with a small monitor may prefer single, non-continuous with bookmarks. It can be very irritating to open a PDF and find that the author has overridden your own preferences. So I specifically make sure that all of these settings are left at user-defaults.
By the way, if you haven't done so already, you can set your own viewing preferences under the Edit/Preferences menu listing. You can tell Acrobat what your preferred initial view should be. If you want to set this for a specific document, then use the File/Properties/Initial view menu item.

Rick Christopherson could also add his name as the author.
There is this huge unwritten rule in the technical publications industry that an author never, ever, ever, takes credits in manuals. [big grin] Because the original ATF55E manual I wrote 10 years ago wasn't a typical for-hire document, I deliberately added credits to it to see if Christian Oltzscher would squash it. Because he didn't squash it, my name is now default credited in every Festool manual, document, and project plan I create. (Shame on me!!! [scared]) It's printed on the legal page for all manuals and in the margins for training documents. [big grin] [big grin] [big grin]
As Shane pointed out, these are Festool documents, and Festool is listed as the copyright holder in each manual.
