Right angle plug-it cord

I am making a toybox, and I'm trying to build it without fasteners.  I made some goofs where I assembled the box and glued part of it up, and then realized I needed to cut more dominos inside the box.  The domino machine barely fit inside.  I had to squish the cord down and plunge it to the surface to get it to fit.

In a case like this it would have been nice to have a right angle plug-it cord that didn't protrude from the end of the tool very far.  It may not be practical for everyday use, but it would be a nice option to have when faced with those tight spots.

Boy, you could have used that new cordless Domino I seen on the German Festool website.  I'm joking, no cordless Domino (at least that I'm aware of).

The new Carvex jigsaws have a pivoting Plug-it connection, maybe other tools might have these in the future too.

A pivoting plug it would have worked great!  Is the pivot in the cord, or in the tool?

Tool/cord  [tongue]

How does that help? He asks "Is the pivot in the cord, or in the tool?" and you answer "tool/cord"? [doh]

Kodi,

To answer your question (with one answer rather than both!), the pivot is built into the tool, so the plug-it socket moves. The plug-it plug is the same as for every other Festool cord.
