Right angle vac connector

I need to make a right angle out of the front a shop vac (same size port on the front of the vac as the port on the front of the CT-26/36/48), and I'm having trouble finding the right part.

A right angle connector for the end of the hose like the one from Festool would be ideal, but that one is for a 32mm hose, and I would like for it to be a 35/36mm. I took it apart, and the 35mm Bosch hose I have sort of wedges in there (without the end ring), but not as well as I would like - I think it would risk coming apart pretty easily.

Absent a right angle connector on the hose end, just something that turns up out of the vac and then has the same size port to plug the hose into would work great. I've seen references on here to a 2.5in Oneida right angle connector, but wouldn't that be too large (for the vac port and the hose connector)?

Any ideas or direction would be greatly appreciated - thanks.

You might find something with Rockler. They have a fairly large dust collection line.

I use the Oneida angled connectors on various vac stations...👍

I like that the Oneida elbow for the anti-static properties like the Festool elbow. I do wish they made one with a longer radius bend. I don't know how they can claim it creates "smooth 90-degree hose turns with minimal loss of air performance".

On that Oneida 90 .................  which end fits the vac and which fits the hose. Does a Festool hose attach without modification or tape, etc?  Does it fit into the vac without same?  Picture of connection?

These we’re my concerns, too.

The product Michael Kellough linked to was the product I was referring to in my initial post. Having it described as 2.5in worries me a little, because that would be too large for the “standard” vac port and connectors. But, according to the specs, it’s not really 2.5in at the ends - it’s smaller than that and may fit.

I went ahead and ordered one, so I’ll find out soon enough, but if rst is using this piece with vacs/hoses the same size as festool’s connectors/ports, then I expect I’ll be fine.

Thanks, all.

Sorry for the delay. It arrived, but I haven’t hooked it up yet. I’m planning to do it this weekend.

I probably have at least six.  The one most used is no my CT26 so the hose goes straight up rather than extending out the front.
