Right screws to fasten Texture 111 to metal studs?

One wall of my basement workshop divides that space from a finished space and that wall has metal studs.  I'd like to cover those studs on the workshop side with Texture 111 like I've got on the other walls (which have wooden studs), but don't know what kind of screws are correct for that.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?  Pointers to something on Amazon or McFeely's are especially easy to deal with.  In the picture on the right you see the wall I want to cover, just like the wall on the left with the cabinets on it.  I don't currently have plans to put cabinets on the wall with the metal studs, but I suppose that could change.

Standard Sheetrock (fine thread drywall as the generic name would be) screws work well with steel stud.  That is, if you don't mind the look.

Fine thread drywall screws should work for you.  I never used metal studs, but a buddy of mine created a ancillary room in his garage using metal studs and OSB and it is still up.  I am sure others would have better suggestions.

I had thought it would need some kind of specialty screws - sounds easier than I thought.

I don't put up metal studs very often maybe once a year. It's been years since installed drywall to metal studs but if I remember right we used self tapping screws. I was working for some one and they provided the fasteners, so it might not be critical.

There are a ton of options at McFeely's ranging from drywall screws (probably won't countersink by themselves) to trim head (will require more and with the small head sometimes they cam out or break) to even stainless steel ones (expensive) designed for wood to steel studs.  Because of the unique design of the Spax screws you might find one that will countersink and work.

My advice - call McFeely's and ask them - 1-800-443-7937 - versus thumbing thru their catalog.
