I picked up the RO 125 FEQ Plus from the recon site almost a year ago and love it. I’m currently working on a project that the edge sander attachment would be beneficial. Is there one compatible with this sander? I can’t seem to find one.

Thanks

@ your favorite dealer 493912.guy ps, should have come with one?

This is an edge protector.

I think the OP means the 90-degree / adjustable arm for sanding edges like the one available for the ETS/ETSC 125.

No, unfortunately, there is no such attachment for any sander in Festool's lineup other than the ETS/ETSC 125.  The attachment can be modified to work on the DTS and RTS, but at the expense of paper and pad life, as it will wear only one section of the paper/pad when attached to a non-rotating sander.

I'd add one small caveat...NEW style ETS/ETSC/Pro 5

I will also add if you need such an item its well worth it to spend the 200 on the 125 req sander its designed for.  Mine lives in the angle adaptor.  Its a bit of a pain to take it on/off all the time since there is no quick release.  I dont care to use a DE or hose and just use the bag.  The only thing I wish for was if they had designed a little mount for it so the sander could be clamped to a workbench to make it like a baby disc sander.  I use it for deburring the fuzz off the edges left sometimes from the cnc.  Its invaluable for that but sometimes I have some small parts and its easier to flip it over and set the part on the flat plate of the guide.

Thanks for all the insight, that’s unfortunate, but understand.

That is a great idea. I'm not really good enough with Fusion360 yet, but that seems like a great idea to make a part the replaces the simple half with something that could be clamped.
