Hi, I was just sanding 4/4 maple and the sander just stopped while in rotex mode. I thought the power went out...nope. Tried 2 other power cords...nope. Out of warranty now and wondering if anyone has words of wisdom.

Not worth sending for repair at this point, looking for a diy solution.

Thanks,
Ken

Thanks for the response.
The pins are shiny, had that problem years ago and fixed by festool. I suppose I’ll try the brushes.
Thanks
Ken

Ps. Any recommendations for a supplier, the guy I’ve dealt with doesn’t do much Festool anymore. Last place I ordered online sent me a router bit instead of a sanding pad. [eek]

[member=77860]Kenmf[/member] , Festool USA sells parts direct to the consumer. Just call the 800 number at festoolusa.com and give them the part numbers you need or have them advise. Be prepared with model number and serial number.
Good luck.

Success! RO125 up and running. Took about 5 minutes with my wife’s tweezers and a phillips to replace them.
Easy peasy, thanks for the replies and help!

I picked them up from a relatively local dealer, experience wasn’t exactly positive. Next time I’ll order online.

Thank you everyone!
Ken
