I need some guidance concerning my RO 150 FEQ.
I was buffing with a buffing pad without using any vac because I didn't consider it neccessary at the time. After a few moments the pad came off. It was extremely hot. After it cooled I could see it is held on by a 3 tab steel piece attached to the sander itself. There are opposite correspondening tabs on the pad. It appears the pad needs to be placed on the steel tabs and turned to lock into place.
I noticed a green locking mechanism to stop the shaft from turning, it does stop the shaft from turning however it doesn't stop the tabs from turning, so I am unable to turn and lock the sanding pad onto the sander.
Any help would be appreciated. I think I broke it. :'(
