I am looking at spare sanding pads for the RO-150-FEQ. I ordered 496149 & 496160. the schematic in the manual says 493916. I could not find 493916 to order. have the part numbers changed? or did I order the wrong pads. The SN on my new sander is 40050270. I ordered through Amazon. Please let me know ASAP.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry for the bad information in the manual. That pad number was discontinued in 2011 and replaced with 496147, which is the correct replacement soft pad for the RO 150 FEQ. Item number 496149 is a hard pad which will also fit the RO 150. However, the pad you ordered, 496160, is a soft pad for the ETS 150. You need 496147 instead.

Pad 493916 is an old type with 8 holes and is called:.
ST-STF D150/8 FX-W-HT is black where W=Weich=Soft and HT stands for Hochtemperatur=Heat resistant.
The newer ones do have 17 holes and are called Multistream for better dust control and sanding result.
496149 is blue and called ST-STF D150/17MJ-FX-H-HT where H=Hard
496160 is black and called ST-STF D150/17MJ-M8-W and is meant for the ETS150 with a M8 screw connection.
