well my 5 year old faithful rotex finally showed signs of failure and i have a feeling that the speed control is the culprit........i say this because recently the machine when turned on would go to higher than normal speed then turn itself right off.......moved the speed dial back and forth and then the machine would work, but only at highest speed.
today however, the problem has returned, and will no longer stay on after switching the machine on.
is there a way i can bypass the variable speed by wiring direct?
