RO-90 Extended Delta Pad Question

Hello all quick question for you.

I am sanding my front porch and need the extended delta pad to reach a small strip under the railing. 

Does the extension base come with the Velcro backing pad? Or do I need to buy that separately?  Can I use the pad on my existing delta base?

The original pad works on the extension, I just finished using my extended pad in order to sand an Adirondack set.  I would buy extra pads however as I used too much pressure on my first one and melted the velcro sticky on the tip.
