As the title  says my ROr 90 shut down again, l had only used it for 10 minutes and it would not start back up for a half hour.  This is the fourth time  in the last two months that it's done this to me. It is less than a year ago and it was only in the  70's. Yes I had hook up to the vac and I know it has  a thermal switch, but 10 minutes is a little much. My  dealer seems to think it's not a problem, but I use the thing on a daily basis. Is anybody else running into  this problem or is it only me. Thanks

I might suggest that you pull the cord loose from the tool and look at the now revealed end.  Do you see and discoloration or melting?  I wonder if the pins and sockets might have some damage.

I had tried it with 2 different  plug its and even brew out  the inner workings.  I think I have either have a bad switch  or board. I saw no sign of heat damage or lose wiring connections.I'm going to be sending in on Monday, which socks since I need it next week. Thanks Peter, I hope you are doing well, l know recovery can be a long road.

Thanks Brent!  Other than being out of shape from sitting or lying on my arse for too long, I am ready and rockin' to go.  Just in time for Spring which is the season of change and promise.

Just didn't want you to keep changing cords and have a bad end on the tool.  If you have one the "disease" will transfer from one cord to another and then possibly from one tool to another if a damaged cord is use.  Doesn't happen all the time, but when it does - just when guys like me are in denial about being sick - it can go south in a hurry.

Festool service will get you squared away.

Peter
