I want to get this right. They are not table legs but full-height standards for etageres. In clear cherry that cost me a bunch, they are 1.7 inches square and about 75 inches long.
I have the stock sort-of-soft pad and the white hard pad.
So I am overthinking this in my usual fashion. Each unit has four standards and I am making a run of five of these etageres.
See the pic attached. A jig is envisioned with the work part in the center. The two flanking pieces are there to keep me from sanding any roll-over onto the surfaces.
