I am making a small box with contoured sides using cocobolo and have been using my RO90 with Granat abrasives. My abrasives selection only goes through 320 grit and I need to go much finer and polish this box. It seems as if my two best choices would be using an interface pad and continuing on with the Granat abrasives up to P1500 or go with the Platin abrasives. I will likely use the Beale buffing system for final polishing.
So far, up to 320 grit, the Granat has held up well and has not loaded up. Any recommendations as to the best route would be most appreciated.
