Sounds like you have sort of an idea of what you need !As a side note there are some tail gate stuff sellers that are looking at this project with great intrest!!! no one sells this as we can see!!

Peter,  You might need to get a patent on this project!

Sell it to someone to mass produce it and retire in the Florida Keys!

Thanks Buddy!

Just throw on some pressure.  I assume the SUV will be available for measurement?  It better be a small one, 'cause we need to build 2 of them.  If you want a tv or anything else mounted, better bring it because the saws will be going the the Domino will be doing its thing.  Dude.

Hey,

That is not fair.  Put me in a room with 2 Festool guys and what do I do - talk Festool.  I was great to hang with Keith and Shane who just so happened to be close and stopped by, and it was also great to pass on several tips and tricks that I have learned from you guys.

Don't worry Allen, while you were eating dinner I was slaving away making progress.  Made some design changes along the way, so tomorrow will be pure pressure, but...

By the way, while attempting to use the CMS for the first time I encountered a problem changing a bit, and Allen knew the answer to what I encountered.

The 1400 was off, but the trigger was locked in the on position.  I tried to change bits and the collet turned freely when I tried to remove the bit.  Allen had that happen to him a day or so ago.  I seems to be a safety measure.  The trigger can not be locked in the in position if you want to remove a bit.

Tomorrow is another day, but although I am behind the 8 ball today was a great day!

Lol 5 hours was to far to drive….My buddy asked if i'd go watch the Buick Grand Nationals with him. So…we ended up on a southwest plane at 6am and landed in Nashville Tn. then drove to Bowling Green Ky to watch the races and check out the cars then back to Nashville to fly back and be home before midnight. Crazy fun day just wish I saw some green also :D

just as a last post
Peter ,you are the man- thank you    thank you    thank you
We had a great time , got to meet 2 of the best Festool has to offer , and great they are !! Keith and Shane thank you for coming down and doing all the great stuff you do!! and if anybody ever has the chance to let Peter loose with some Festool stuff, try to take notes!!!! saw a load of things i had not seen before .
oh challenge 2  -  Peter 0
thanks again my friend
Allen

Thanks to Allen and Woodcraft Roanoke for letting me come again.  It was a blast, and it was also great to recognize customers from last year.  I hope that there will be a next time.

Keith is well on his way to being the kind of rep that we read about here and all wish we had.  What more can I say about Shane than has already been written here except  [thumbs up].

As a moderator I am not supposed to favor one dealer over others, so I won't.  But I will say that after reading time and time again about frustrated Festool users who can't get what they want or get help and info about Festool products when visiting a Woodcraft, other Woodcrafts should call Allan and these guys and get some advice.

A challenge taken and failed becomes an experience.  A challenge not taken is a waste.
