Im not looking to beat a dead horse with this topic.

I recently purchased a T-15 set and have been very impressed with the drill. I like the Centrotec system and the added efficiency it offers changing out bits. Like others on here, #2 square head screws are more common than any other screw I use.

With Festool not offering any Robertson tips for the Centrotec chuck, I went to a friend at a shop with access to CNC lathes. I had him turn my standard bits down to fit in the Centrotec chuck and add a grove for the detent. This worked out great for me. He made a program so we can easily turn the standard tip to fit into the centrotec chuck.

I was seeing if there was any interest from members here for robertson tips. I have talked with Shane to make sure it was alright to offer these here. I don't have pricing yet, but would guess it would be in the same ballpark of the current festool tips.

Also, what length does everyone use the most? I use the 2" commonly, pocket screws I use the 6" and sometimes 4" depending on what Im doing.

I am just seeing how many people would be interested in these.

Thanks,
Erik

I like the 4" best. I would continue to use the locking bit holder for when I need to swap bits often, but would love a 4" for dedicated assembly work and a 6" for when needed. The 2" is pretty close to the locking bit holder size and since I don't have any other 2" centrotec bits, I don't think I would use it much. Also a 4" would be a nice addition to my installers set!

I would LOVE to be able to get some of these to go with my installers kit. 2" and 6" would be my most used, but 4" fine too if that's the way you need to go.

you need them all.

I use the 2" the most then the 6" and least I use the 4" but if you are going to make Roberson tips you need all of them. It is the whole system thing. There are times you can't get there with out a 4". In a few pocket screw settings I have had to start it with the 2" then move to the 4" then move to the 6"  it was with big material so long screws in one tight spot with a 90 degree on the gun.

2": #1 and #2
4": #1 and #2
6": #1 and #2

I would think the Canadian market would be all over this tread. Roberson was a Canadian. Not long ago I heard the Roberson headed screws had something near a 80% market share in Canada.

Cheers,
Steve

Awsome guys!

Im going today to "look" at a Trion, I will see if I can get a deal on a large order of tips with my festool purchase.

I will get some pricing as soon as I get machining costs and cost of the tips.

Let me know if their are other requests, sizes, driver types etc...

Erik

This would be great!  Edited to ask for a total of two sets of the following.  Thank you!

I just went to the dealer and cleared them out of the stock they had. Im going to place a bulk order with them on Monday after I see how many people reply here.

Keep the requests coming.

price and quality of the bits themselves are what i'm curious about before i make a purchase. I'm picky.
