Rockler Sliding Door Slide Pins

Just ran across this the other day and thought the idea had some merit. Has anyone used this before?

They also recommend that the door runs on some Nylo-Tape to reduce friction. I'd probably inlet it into the bottom of the sliding door.

Why not just cut a block of UHMW and let it into the bottom piece, allowing the extended tab to ride on the UHMW material?  Tape is just so, well, inelegant...  [big grin]

Mine are opposite? In the sense that there's a pin in the floor and a groove in the bottom of the door. To me it's better than having a groove in the floor (or cabinet floor).
