Rockwell JawHorse on SALE at Rockler - Big Savings

For those of you that have been lusting after one of those Rockwell Jawhorses, Rockler has them at a special price at their on-line store.

Are you ready for this...$177.76.  Normal price was $179.00.  That's right ladies and gentlemen, $1.24 in savings off list.  My local Woodcraft has them.  I wonder if they would be willing to match this price?

Better hurry.  At this price they won't last long.  Hope it was not a misprint because legally they are not obligated to sell at this bargain price.  Also, of course because it is on sale, discount coupons are not applicable for this item.

My latest flier doesn't show this as a sale item.  They advertise the price as $179.00.  This is significant because their "%20 Off Any Regular Priced Item" coupon doesn't apply to "Sale" items.  Of course these coupons never include the true goodies - Festool, Leigh Jigs, Porter-Cable dovetail jigs, power tools. . .

The sale price appears on the website.  The flier usually applies only to in-store purchases.  Many stores, including the one here in Denver, may choose to honor the website pricing.

As I noted and you did as well, discounts do not apply to sale items.  So the question is, if you went into the store would they try to tell you that it is on sale so that the 20% would not apply?

I appreciate the humor of the situation, but to diverge just a little, if you're thinking about a JawHorse -- go for it.  Mine is one of the handiest tools I have.
