Ron Paulk inspired workbench

I built this over the holidays, I had vacation and my wife didn't want me making a mess in the house.  I really like my DeWalt track saw and needed a MFT type workbench to increase it's usefulness further.  I also like Ron Paulk's idea of a two level top so you can store tools on the lower level to keep the top surface less cluttered.  My workbench is not identical to any of his designs but is based upon them.  I also made a crosscut jig based upon his design.  The workbench is 3 feet by 7 feet and is made of 23/32 pine plywood.  Holes in the top were bored using a freud bit in my PC plunge router with a Woodrave base to use pegboard for spacing.  The workbench rolls on 6 totally locking casters I got off eBay - I was pleasant surprised with the quality.  I also threw in a picture of my Grizzly track saw clamps.  Much cheaper than other alternatives ($25 for 2) and work fine.

Looks very sharp Jim.

I've listed for the time to make a Paulkish bench about this size.  I'd need to make it transportable like Ron's but a single-piece about the size of yours.

How did you join yours?  Looks like wood screws driven from the outside;  just wondering what size/length you used.

Also, any thought about what you might do differently if you did it over...
