Just an update on the bench slats/boards.
Completed Bench, delivered to In-laws and bolted in situ. Iroko looks stunning (better in real life), each coat was de-nibbed when dry with 0000 wire wool, tried to use the Surfix Vlies but the green was too aggressive and the white not enough. All fasteners are 316 Stainless steel.
Plaque reads to Dave and Val in memory of Bert (FIL's Brother) and Marjorie (MIL's Mother) who sadly left us in 2014
Not great image quality as my Daughter took it on her camera phone, but a good memory image.
The In'Laws loved it and they are looking forward to using it when the weather warms up a bit.
