Greetings to all.  I would like to remove glazing from shelves that are used in a ceramic kiln.  The glaze drips are cooked at high temperature, and are firmly adhered to the shelf.  The drips tend to shatter sharply when removed by hammer-chisel.  Is there a heavy duty diamond pad for the rotex 150 that might smoothly grind off these drips?

Good health, Peter

I'd use a small right angle grinder with a silicon oxide wheel or a diamond cup wheel.

There really isn't anything available for a Rotex. The best Festool offers is Saphir paper but that's aluminum oxide based so that is probably too soft for the ceramic.

Hi welcome to the forum festool use to make this abrasive diamate for hard coatings #496512 for the rotex 150. guy
