Hi all.
Has anyone tried to create a jig to fix Rotex to a workbench and use it as a tiny disk sander?
Is it usable or is the vibration too much for the purpose?
Thanks.

I see no reason why not, if you built a stand you could drop it in, use the  handle screw hole to bolt it to the stand

Seems like an old used sander would be cheaper and better, and save a Rotex for handwork??

I've used my ro-90 as a fixed sander several times - just clamped it down carefully through the handle. I was sanding some small items,  so I don't know how it works with bigger things. Also,  there's easy access to the speed control when it's upside down,  so you can tune it in to whatever you're working on...
