Rousseau 2875 or 2875XL for Kapex?

No experience with a Kapex on either. However, the description of the XL indicates that it's designed for saws with sliding fences.
I often slide the fences on my Kapex so I'd be inclined towards it.

I have the FESTOOL UG stand and extensions and I am quite happy with them. The Rousseau reminds me of a well built gardening cart!  [eek]

I have had my Kapex on the 2875XL ever since the Kapex became available in the US. This is a great stand for any miter saw.

Good to know, thanks!

I have that stand for my box planer.  its adjustable so you can use it for any tool.  My only recommendation is to find a way to secure the tool to the stand.  The metal bottom is slippery so make sure you have rubber feet on your saw.

The bottom of the stand is slippery, it's a painted surface. I intended for mine to be dedicated to the miter saw so after aligning the saw height to the extension wings and the table depth, I drilled and permanently mounted. The great thing about this stand is the operable extensions on both side of mine. When they are needed you can fold either the left wing or right out to use and fold down after you finish greatly reducing the size of the length for storage out of the way. The casters were a great addition also for making the stand mobile. I haven't second guessed the purchase of this stand. The quality is truly exceptional.

+1 on the stand, used to have a 12" Porter Cable saw, then a Bosch 12" slider now a Kapex all on this stand and it works great, only thing is if you have tight quarters it tends to take up a lot of real estate.
