Rousseau table saw stand

I was just wondering if anyone owns one of these and would you recommend one?

I've owned one for about 25 years. Love it. Put a removable router on the right side and built an out feed table. If the current quality is as good as the old I wouldn't hesitate to buy a new one if I had the need.

I have played with one and thought about one, but with a track saw I see no need for one. I do not use a table saw often, and it is always for rip cuts or small items where I am using a sled. My Bosch 4100 is not a great saw and the fence is lacking but it does get the job done. Last thing I want is more stuff to be moving around to make a few cuts when needed. I did set up some hanging hooks so if I need to make really long rips I can use a plastic picnic table to outfeed onto while solo.

What table saw do you own? Do you own a track saw?

I would say you are set. If you haven't already build a table saw sled for it. From what I have read people are not complaining about the fence on the Sawstop. I am jealous of your safety saw!

Curious are you doing site work or working at home? Do you have a setup for ripping sheet goods down? Meaning some type of saw horses or similar for use with the track saw.

I work at home and on site. Paulk bench for breaking material down. I find the fence on the sawstop has too much movement on rear of fence that’s why I was interested in the Rousseau table saw stand it has a quality fence on it.

The fence on mine is rock solid. The current version looks good. Based on my experience I'd go for it if I owned a JSS. Is possible for you to have a look at one?
Lacking that maybe a vender with a good return policy?

If you get one please share your thoughts.

I’m from Ontario Canada I cant physically see one and to have one shipped is about $560.00 all in and that’s for reconditioned one

Before making any decisions it might be worth investigating the issue you are having with the fence. If it is moving when locked down there should be an adjustment to snug the fence up. If you mean it is not staying inline as you move it, you might change where your hand is as you move your fence. With my Bosch fence I have to be careful where I apply pressure to fence to move it in order to keep it straight to the blade. I would strongly recommend a phone call to Sawstops tech support for answers.
