Router Demo Day

For everyone in the NY NJ area, we are having a Router Demo Day on Saturday March 22.

Thinking of adding a Fetool router to your tool arsenal, or just want to brush up on how to use yours?

Well your in luck! We are holding a 3 hour router seminar.
Our man Daniel, AKA "THE HAMMER" will be showing:

MFK 700 Modular Trim Router,
OF 1010 EQ Plunge Router,
OF 1400 EQ Plunge Router,
And the beast of all routers the OF 2200 EB Router.

Learn the differences between them, all their functions and the wide variety of accessories.

Starting at 10am Saturday March 22th we will begin the seminar with the small routers, break for lunch around noon (you're invited). Then picking up where we left off and finishing the siminar about 1pm.

If you have any questions on other Festool products your more then welcome to stay and ask any questions you may have after the seminar is over.

Also, If you have any specific questions on functionality, such as using the LR 32 system, trimming edge banding, cutting dadoes, post them here.  The Hammer will work all these questions into the seminar.

The seminar is just over 2 weeks away. 

So far, the Hammer has these ideas for the day. 

Part 1:
Go over each of the 4 routers and explain the best uses for each.
Discuss the accessories for each of the routers, and some useful tricks and hints.

Part 2:
Play around with the MFK 700 for some edge banding and light edge forming work.
Invite all of YOU up to the mft to give it a try for yourself.

Part 3:
Discuss the use of the larger routers (1010 and up) in conjunction with the rails for making dadoes
Make some sawdust (or not, we all know this is Festool)

Break for lunch

Part 4:
Go over the LR 32 system and show what it can really do

As I mentioned earlier, the Hammer will incorporate any questions you may have into the seminar.  Ask them here and he can prepare a demonstration.

How often do you have these?  My in-laws are just down the road.  Might have to schedule a trip around the next one.  Too late for this one.  The family is spending spring break out there next week without me.

We have different seminars throughout the year, approximately every 2 - 3 months.

Up next is our Fathers Day Show and BBQ June 7th. 

We are thinking about a Domino day in August, with an extra surprise demonstration outside immediately after.
