Hey Y'all,

I'm looking at the OF 1400 on the Festool website. It doesn't look like it comes with the parallel guide? Am I right in thinking that it used to? When I look at retailer websites, it shows the edge guide.

Also, Are all the routers shipping with imperial measurements now? Can metric be requested or do you have to order some plates and stickers?

Thanks,

I have the plus version. That came with one.  I see its still listed.

Just to be extra clear, do you mean the standard "side stop" (Festool nomenclature) that runs on the edge of the piece of work, or the "rail adapter" that runs along a track?

You get the former, but not the later.

If I look at the festoolusa site, I only see the rods included. link

I would ask (call/email) the store before ordering to be sure.

I ordered the plus version and I got all on the attached photo. In the red is the parallel guide. I ordered separate the guide for the rail.

I actually think in EU we only have a PLUS and PLUS + the router bit box. Then in the US I guess  they have a cheaper version without all that.

It's amazing the difference between the OF1400 webpage on two different countrys' web sites.

There is from what I can see only the one kit (OF1400 EQ-F-Plus) available in the US.
https://www.festoolusa.com/products/routing/routers/574692---of-1400-eq-f-plus-usa#Functions
https://www.festool.nl/producten/fr...--plus--box-of-s-810x-hw#Technicalinformation

But what suprised me most was the amount of information available to download on the NL site compared to only the Operating Manual on the US site. I guess we don't need to know about all those other functions or features.

I didn't know there was a PDF version of the Systainer label available that you could fill out with your own information.

That's the reason I periodically go to the UK website and peck around. They have more manuals, Technical Data Sheets, How To Manuals...you'd think the UK, US & AU sites would contain the same information but that's not the case. There's even a difference in information available between the UK & AU websites.  [mad]

The Emerald Edition of the OF 1400 included the edge guide, but it does not come standard with the standard OF 1400 sets.
