I have to remove some material from a groove in a cabinet. I have a medium router plane but the task is more for the regular format. I bought the Veritas Router Plane and the cutters are breaking the fibers instead of removing a thin shave like my medium router plane do. I notice the cutter have a pitch that make it bite into the wood drastically. Is that normal?
