I have just completed another router table: http://www.inthewoodshop.com/Powered Tools and Machinery/RouterTableAdventure.html

This is built into the outfeed of my table saw. It features a number of interesting items: fully-functioning fence, JessEm guides, Router Raizer, Wixey digital gauge, and amazing dust collection!

The aim was to build a router table with good features, and at a reasonable cost. To do this, there is no expensive router lift, and the fence is shop-made.

I hope it offers up some ideas for others.

Nice table and photos on your blog.  I had that same Elu router many years ago.  Looks like it is still going strong for you!

It’s a great router, Neil. I have another for hand-held use, plus a couple of smaller Elus. Of course, today they are sold as DeWalt.

Brilliant piece of work. With the cyclone on the CT 26, how does the system do for dust extraction?

[member=4358]derekcohen[/member] - now we know what to do with my trusty old ELU Router which has been sidelined ever since the OF1400 moved into our shop!

And if we need help writing illustrated user guides, we now know who we can ask down under [wink]

very well done with a special thank you for your dust collection detail!

The cyclone is excellent, and the combination works very well. There were literally two specks of “dust” ( more like 1mm chips) on the table after all the routing. That exceeded my expectations. My only complaint about the CT26e, which I have had for about 5 or 6 years, is that the suck is not strong enough to use at the drill press. This is not due to the cyclone, having tried it both ways, and with clean filters.
