I know this has probably been discussed loads of times , but I'm going to make a router table (after I've finished the bench and made a drill press table ) which router would you put in it ,I had an 1/2 dewalt that i sold wish I hadn't , not sure if I want to spend out on a festool to permanently have it mounted
I've looked at a triton and a porter cable ,, but they don't seem to be available over here

As Dave pointed out, Triton are available here - just google and you will find loads from UK suppliers (Toolstop, amazon, etc)
The Trend T11 is another option - it has above table adjustment just like the Triton's.

Shed9 you are right ,just googled it and found a 2000w triton on tesco direct for£90 .....

But I just can't buy tools from tesco ...would never live it down lol

We won't tell everybody .... not everybody [wink]

I've a Triton in my table and it works well, with through the table height adjust and auto spindle lock when you raise it for a bit change.

The only thing unusual about my table is that I have a pair of double-extension drawer runners mounted to the underside of the tabletop that link around to the fence so that it is always parallel to the mitre slot.  So simple to do and makes such a difference...
