RQ 150 HOT HOT HOT

Okay my RQ 150 gets really hot after just five minutes or less.  I have owned the tool less than 4 months and it has done this since the first day but now it is getting worse.  Today it has started to also make a noise. ..
I have not even filled my first dust bag up 30% yet... is it normal to need an oven mit to use the sander ?????

Our sanders can get warm during their initial break-in period (about 10 hours) while the brushes get seated against the armature of the motor. However, it shouldn't be scalding hot. I would suggest you contact our service department. Their number is on your tool as well as below in my signature. They can help diagnose the situation over the phone and, if necessary, make arrangements for warranty repair. During the first year of warranty, we pay shipping to and from your location.
