Higher levels of RRP enforcement are on the horizon. Are you prepared? Of course you are, because you're using one of Festool's Full Unit HEPA Certified Dust Extractors which were exhaustively tested to exceed the requirements set forth for RRP.  [thumbs up]

The article, among other things, states that the EPA receives 400 tips per month on average about noncompliance via their website. So, if you're non-compliant, that's something to think about.

Had me confused for a minute there Shane.  RRP in the UK stands for recommended retail price.

Means the same in Oz too ... bizarre what's happened to the English language ... I vote we declare that people in the US speak American ... not English. Then we can do away with all of the confusion of fooling ourselves we're using the same language  [big grin]

As Churchill said "two (maybe three) countries separated by a common language"

Most of the time I hear it just called Lead Removal Procedures.... I too was taken back when I saw RRP.... [eek]

The booklet we must give out to owners and tenets where work done has the title - The Lead-Safe Certified Guide To RENOVATE RIGHT.

Cheers,
Steve

Kev, I agree, however we in the states should explore speaking Jive again and possibly including coaching signals with it.  [blink]

Jive talkin'

Thank you, Alan!

Just so I don't throw Shane's thread way off track, I will be doing many people a favor by calling the EPA on myself, frequently, to distract them from the rest of ya.  [wink]

Just do JMB speak instead.  No don't do that it.  It is hard to understand.  It's crap!  It's crap I say.  My mate says the same!    [poke] [poke] [popcorn] [popcorn]

Sorry for the off topic.  Bottom line as Shane pointed out in the linked article.  Better get ready here in the US.  Do it right when it comes to lead or don't do it or run the risk.
