where exactly is the festool recip saw made? i thought it was a Flex rebrand made in china

are people treating porter cable and milwaukee, etc. like a red headed stepchild then maybe they are tougher than festool. or is it all just mind games.

I've been using a Bosch GSA 18v recip saw since 2014. It has the same SDS blade holder as the Festool. I only recently noticed it was made in China. It's been a good saw. Well built.

Picked up a gently used RSC basic on eBay for $240. I’ve used it a few times during my current renovation of one of our bathrooms and it works great. Much better than the Craftsman I have. Yes, it is on the hefty side, but it is very smooth with little vibration. Good to have in the collection for sure!
